…what with Grandaddy having decided to call it a day with the release of their forthcoming LP Just Like the Fambly Cat.
I totally love Grandaddy, though I probably came to them much later than most – I remember reading reviews years and years ago about Under the Western Freeway, which I thought, ‘I really must get’. I never did, you know, though I accumulated The Sophtware Slump and Sumday, both of which are records I can listen to all day and into tomorrow.
It’ll be a much less interesting world without my favourite Grandaddy…
