A few weeks back, I was watching New York Noise (otherwise known as the best show ever for NYers that are fans of indie rock, local bands and music videos without the bullshit), and I came across The Burnside Project.

You may remember them, or might have heard of them, because they did the theme song to Queer As Folk. However, thankfully, NONE of their other stuff sounds remotely similar to that crap.

Their new tracks sound like The Bravery in a barfight with LCD Soundsytem with Depeche Mode referee-ing.

I have yet to pick up the new CD but if any Burnside fans/management want to pass it my way, I’d be more than happy to listen and review it!
