ANNIE put on a super energetic show last night at the mercury lounge.

i’m happy to report that her live stage antics have improved muchly since seeing her last time open for the secret machines back in late 2005. the combo of a live drum/guitar/cowbell and a fantastic DJ really tightened her sound.

albeit a short set, annie was in rare form blowing kisses to the crowd and replying to all the hecklers with nothin’ but love.

a well spent $10.
