Arriving to the Delancey last night around 11pm post-Editors high, I was treated to the final song from the Glass-opening Republic Of Loose and it was fucking amazing!

Wearing their influences on both sleeves, try to imagine what would happen if George Clinton, The Scissor Sisters and Wu Tang Clan all entered the same room with hopes of making the best live show ever. Yes, this is what Republic Of Loose sounds like.

After researching a bit, it seems like they just opened for Snow Patrol over at the Bowery and already have some hardcore fans (many were in attendance last night, singing along with every SINGLE lyric).

Hopefully next time they are in the city, I get to catch their entire set!
