On Sunday night, I saw my fifth (or is it sixth?) David Clement show.

He’s a fantastic acoustic musician who performs regularly with a celloist and additional electric guitarist, both of which are highly talented and adorable on stage with him.

David Clement is what a singer-songwriter is supposed to be.

None of the bullshit attitude, none of the awful lyrics (candy lips and bubblegum tongue, anyone??), and massive amounts of stage presence (take that, Cat Power!)

I highly suggest you go to one of his shows if you live in NYC as he does at least one per month in and around the LES/East Village.

You won’t regret it.
