After an absolutely cursed attempt to tour the US, Razorlight finally have made plans to have another go starting later this month in NYC. I’ll be there with bells on as this will be the first chance I’ve had to see the British stars. Despite what I’ve heard about their sometimes weak show, I am really psyched to see the boys perform ‘Goldentouch’ live- that was my JAM in 2005. The new song ‘In the morning’ is also pretty darn good: Download trat track here.

I would like to make this completely unrelated observation after taking a gander at the Bowery calendar, Sons and Daughters in April is still not sold out. Why people, why? They are one of my favourite live acts of all time. I have been waiting for them to tour again for what seems like forever. i thought they were really good at coachella a few years ago. when was this announced? was waiting for a rescheduled show, and now its sold out already??
the original date was onsale for weeks before it got cancelled.

I just received the email today about the tour. I had NO clue either. Who are all these people who knew? Maybe they are honouring tickets from a cancelled performance?
i wanna say they went on sale at least a month…i think it’s been sold out for at least two weeks.

Martyr’s is one of the great alternative clubs in Chi.
Razorlight are also playing in Boston on February 25. I am planning on going to that show
