The Tribeca Film Festival, along with ASCAP, has just announced their line-up for the Music Lounge- a showcase featuring artists associated with film. The artists are kind of random, but kind of awesome. Martha Wainwright and Donovan? Rock on. If you can get your hands on a ticket to one of the shows, go. It is great fun and some of the days even had an open bar last year.
The Tribeca/ASCAP Music Lounge is located at Canal Room, 285 West Broadway at Canal Street. The lounge is open to credentialed Festival filmmakers and select badge holders May 1 – 4 and features four to five artists daily. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. daily, with performances beginning at 3:00 p.m.
