It’s the Silver Beats who are opened for the Killers on the final portion of their Spring US tour. They were actually pretty good. How unexpected that the Arctic Monkeys are looking to the Killers for direction. Or, maybe, how completely predictable.

Or maybe they just liked the band and wanted them to play at their gig, and what The Killers have done in the past never entered their thinking at all?

No, I’d say it’s much more likely that has-beens Arctic Monkeys are looking to pinnacle-of-hype the Killers for artistic verve and tour edge
