Via Tech Digest *Could there ever be an Apple gadget more desirable than the iPhone? Yep. How about a limited-edition Yellow Submarine iPod, with every single Beatles album preloaded onto it? Oh yes. There were plenty of rumours about just such a device earlier this year, but nothing came of them. However, according to music industry consultancy Music Ally, the Yellow Submarine iPod may be back on Apple’s roadmap, now that the iPhone launch is out of the way.
What’s more, it’d be launched to tie-in with Beatles tracks finally going on sale on Apple’s iTunes Store, possibly as a one-month exclusive before becoming available through rival digital music services. Kat’s mocked up an image of how the Yellow Sub iPod might look – would you buy one?*

nice, but i prefer to imagine the beggars banquet’s inspired ipod… nasty like his cover.

hahaha i probably would buy one especially since my favorite color is yellow. if only i didn’t just get a new one about six months ago…
and i’ll be so glad if itunes finally sells beatles music. it was always so annoying when i wanted to get one of their songs, but was only offered a tribute band’s version.
that would be fairly amazing. I would buy one, if it came in 80 gb video at least. and didn’t cost four million dollars. BUT STILL.
Why is it such a HUGE idea that the Beatles are available on iTunes. Here’s a novel idea: go buy a CD by the greatest band of all time and put it on your iPod… Beatles CD’s have been available for the last 20+ years people!
Good job!: )
