AEW reports: *Paul McCartney was turned down by Thom Yorke when he asked for a collaboration with Radiohead. According to The Sun former Beatle Paul McCartney approached TY with a view to collaborating, but his request was turned down. Paul McCartney, who recorded with longtime RH producer Nigel Godrich on his album ‘Chaos & Creation In The Backyard’, explained TY wasn’t comfortable playing anybody’s music apart from his own… “My daughter was putting an album together and she put us in touch. Sir Paul, who hasn’t been cool since the seventies and hasn’t been relevant since the sixties, got turned down when he tried to gravytrain off Radiohead.

Maybe Sir Paul can front for the living members of Badfinger.
