Although at the time Ian was attacked for making too big of claims on the part of Ocean Rain, in retrospect it is clearly a majestic album for the ages. So good that it makes that vaunted albums like Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band sound like a burnt turd in comparison. Plus, ya gotta love the use of Killing Moon in Donnie Darko!
