Anthony C shares the following info with ONTD: *One thing I was looking forward to on 1.01.08 was the release date for the physical copies of In Rainbows. BUT I was in Virgin Megastore in Union Square, NYC last night and I saw a sign on the front door saying something to the effect that In Rainbows is available now. I checked it out thinking it was a ploy to get people in, but right there in the front display were the physical copies of the album for $10 and the LP Boxed set. The employees were also wearing In Rainbows t-shirts listing 1.01.08 as the release date as well. I asked the cashier about it but they had no information.*

haha, thats awesome i made musicslut! lol… btw i link you to ontd all the time :D
so i see, thank you!!
i’m sorry, did you say they are selling the LP boxed set? are you referring to the discbox? if so, how much? that’s intense, cuz it’s out of print and waste is out of copies… holla!
i believe he’s referring to the box set that EMI is putting out featuring all of radiohead’s releases (against the band’s will)…
correct me if i’m wrong ANTHONY.C
I too was at virgin on 12/28 and saw in rainbows for sale. they were selling the box set from EMI not the in rainbows one.
They were selling both In Rainbows on CD and the large discbox set at the Virgin in San Francisco. The discbox however was $90 and out of my price range.
So I picked up the album instead. :D
In Rainbows debuted a week early on the Billboard 200 chart due to street date violations; #157 with 9K copies sold.
Tsk-tsk, retailers.
