THE SECRET MACHINES @ MUSIC HALL: EVERYTHING IS ALL SO REAL

Ten minutes prior to last night’s stunning gig, each & every attendee was given a pair of 3D glasses. It’s not as if I didn’t know what I was in for, I just wasn’t expecting props. Thankfully, the effect of the amplifying shades was indeed magical (and not at all trite). Sauntering through a handful of tracks from each of their three full length releases, The Secret Machines performed a tremendously passionate & unfaltering set. While the entire 85 minute show was downright explosive from start to finish, it was the closing trio of ‘Alone Jealous & Stoned’, ‘Nowhere Again’ & ‘First Wave Intact’ which escalated the evening to ‘epic’ status. Read my interview with The Secret Machines here. Enjoy photos of frontman, Brandon Curtis, plus a TSM MP3 below.
