After catching an all too brief (sound massacred) gig at this year’s SXSW Festival, I was beyond anxious to catch Late Of The Pier once again in a proper setting. Thankfully, last night’s show was miles above what I witnessed down in Austin. Late Of The Pier’s debut LP (Fantasy Black Channel) is admittedly a little schizophrenic. However, it’s also genius and makes for a highly entertaining live show. Last night served as proof of this bold assumption. Late Of The Pier will tour North American through the end of the month.
