1. I hear that you split your time equally between New York City & Paris. Which do you prefer & why?
When we come over to New York, it’s always pretty intense, we usually come during our school holidays. We didn’t get much time to visit around but we did get a good feel of the city. The people are much more friendly, the cars are bigger and the burgers taste good!
2. What can you share about your forthcoming debut album?
What I can say is that most of the songs that will be on it were written in our bedrooms and first recorded in a garage. Though the album that will come out will be recorded in NY and in Philadelphia with David Kahne. As it isn’t really finished yet, I can’t really tell you anything more except that there will be some slower tunes on it and some faster ones!

3. What’s your favorite LP of 2009?
It has to be Wall Of Arms by The Maccabees. I love their guitar sound on this record and the songs are really catchy. We saw them at Taubertal, a German festival, where we played the final of ‘Emergenza’. They’re great live!
4. Who’s your biggest guilty pleasure?
I don’t know if i have any. I think I listen to all kinds of music really. But I do remember, when we were in NYC, I had this song by Sean Kingston stuck in my head. I couldn’t stop myself from singing it and the others were like “please stop singing this, please”! So maybe that was my guilty pleasure.
5. Are you tired of people mentioning your age in every review?
It doesn’t annoy us that people mention our ages, no matter what, we can’t change it! What was tiring for us was when we were playing our first concerts in Paris and people were like “they’re good for their age” and talked more about that rather than our music.
6. How did you enjoy your recent stint of NYC gigs?
For me, it was the best part of the trip. We were really excited at the idea of playing great venues like Mercury Lounge or Piano’s and playing at Arlene’s again! And playing live is what we enjoy most! The gigs aren’t the same in NY and in Paris. In Paris, most of the people that come to our gigs followed us for a long time. In NY we had to run the streets giving away fliers (that was exciting, gave one to Brian Chase of Yeah Yeah Yeahs) as well as getting kicked out of some places after the gig because we were underage!
7. Where have you not performed yet that you’d love to visit?
It would be great to perform somewhere in England. We’ve already played in the streets of Liverpool, Leo and I (and made good money!) but that doesn’t really count, we only played mersey 60′s stuff!
8. Are there any misconceptions that you’d like to clear up?
No!
