Donned in full costume and accompanied by a full band (including brass players, a pianist & a beat-boxer), CocoRosie performed their first NYC gig in over two years. And it was magical. Intertwining selections from each of their three albums and highlighting a handful of new tracks, the 85 minute set was surely a breath of fresh air. The evening closed with a seemingly random yet undoubtedly stunning cover of Boyz II Men’s ‘It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday’.
