ATTN BANDS: LAST DAY TO APPLY FOR SXSW 2010

Hey bands, today is the last day to apply for the 2010 SXSW Music Conference. We’ll be heading down this year once more and hope to see you there as well!

The first year we went down in 2008, we worked with the wonderful Brad First to organize the After the Jump showcase. Check out this interview he did giving advice on how bands get selected.

Another great resource for information is this “7 Tips To Get You Noticed By SXSW” by SXSW’s chief music director. Good luck!

Waiting... One of the things that gets under my skin is having to wait for a music download to finish. I usually end up playing something silly, like online bingo or some other flash game, while I'm trying to kill some time. It's an easy way to kill 10 minutes while waiting.
