I think it was a New Order show in 1985 or 1986 at the Orpheum in Boston that ranks as one of the biggest let-downs in my concert-going life. The sound was excellent, but they were so utterly listless on the stage, like the Cars but even less exciting. Around that time I learned that one should use concert reviews to choose who to go see and who not. Nonetheless, I remained a fan of the music all these years and have liked Bad Lt so far. But a cancelled tour? What ever.
