peter buck used to come into easy street records in seattle and buy cds/albums all the time. i constantly saw him. then once, in san francisco, i saw him come out of amoeba in the haight. i yelled hey peter” and when he turned around, i looked away real fast and he got real pissed out and hailed a cab.
