   i really love this record. it’s a shame the energy is not translated in the live performance. his voice is actually sort of annoying live?

   i saw them live in a very small venue in Houston. they were AWESOME– super electrifying!!

   I also saw them at a larger venue at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. the stage was too big.. they should fill it with dancers or move their instruments closer together or something (or michael could do cartwheels to fill the space ;-))

   they still rocked it, though. love these guys.

   i just saw them for the 2nd time in boston…absolutely their energy translates on stage. One of the most fun and energetic live acts out there…

   Is the guy in the back near the drummer even necessary? This band would be better as a four piece, that guy doesn’t even do anything but look awkward. I guess he’s the bassist but he’s so blase.

   OMG!! I’m so disturbed by what I just saw on Jimmy Kimmel(12/08/09)that i actaully had to get up out of bed to write this. I dozed off during Nightline and woke up just in time to catch his “musical” guest, which I did’nt catch the name of, perform. As a musician I realize that you cant please everyone and you have to be true to yourself but God almighty this is possibly the worst thing I have ever heard.
   It makes me want to cry n burn all my guitars at the same time. This kid was singing in the wimpiest falseto voice I’ve ever heard, it sounded like a little mouse trying to squeeze a fart out of its little ass cheeks. And they looked about the same. My 6yr old daughter has more balls than that whole ‘band’. Who F-ing signed these dorks? Prolly a much bigger dork than them I’m sure.
   I know there are different strokes for different folk n In my opinion Kimmel has had some really crappy new acts breaking on his show, n some people would hate my band, but these guys really took the cake. I’d rather chop off my own cock n balls and be one of Tiger Woods’ bitches than have to hear that song and band again…..please forward and repost.

   yeah they’re awesome live, the crowd is usually going crazy, i guess they were just kind of tame that night because it’s you know, jimmy kimmel

   These guys are awesome live-saw them in Sheffield, UK and everyone felt every note of this, and when I saw them they used more actual bass and guitar which made the sounds way cooler!!!

    Yeah, but this band doesn’t even need a bassist. Listen to the music, it’s mainly electronic/synth/drums/etc. Their set-up is too crowded. That awkward dude just makes it… awkward.

    don’t get me wrong–i think these guys are great. this is definitely my favorite album of 2009. i just happen to think it’s better left to the record, which is obviously very highly produced.

    does this mean he uses AUTOTUNE? I’ve seen them live before, and the voice isn’t so fun live! :(
