Learn more about O+ Festival…
Besides the excellent line-up, O+ Festival is on a mission:
“The O+ Festival is a weekend of art and live music hosted by venues throughout Uptown Kingston, NY. It’s also a weekend health care clinic for participating uninsured artists, and a public health resource expo where festival patrons can connect with doctors and health organizations to learn about affordable health insurance options and health resources available to them.
Three-day passes (hospital wristbands!) to festival events (like live bands, art performances, health programming, art walks, DJ disco dance parties at 8 different venues throughout uptown Kingston) are available here for a suggested donation of $25. Proceeds go to future O+ events and the long-term ability to provide reliable access to health care for uninsured artists.”

Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo Banned= all I need to know to want to go.
I definitely applaud the organizers in their long-term mission to make health care accessible for uninsured artists. They aren’t simply keeping health care in the conversation, they are taking it a step further by creating a tangible action where dynamic and inspiring people will benefit. They have my support.

It is nice to see a positive festival in kingston. Glad to see a acorn playing as reggae is a must for Kingston, man. I like Matthew Carefully and Sgt. Dunbar. They were fun at the rest fest!
