The ever-charming Stornoway have recorded a session for 4AD in the rotunda in their hometown of Oxford, which those kind chaps and chapesses have unleashed onto the interwebs for you to watch at your leisure!
4 tracks from Beachcomber’s Windowsill make up the performance (including “Fuel Up” embedded above). You can watch the rest of the session here: Stornoway – 4AD session
Tracks: Fuel up; On the Rocks; Here Comes the Blackout; Watching Birds.
The rotunda in Oxford is a quirky little place which was commissioned in the 60s by Vivenne Greene, ex-wife of novelist Graham, to be a dolls-house museum. It bears a sign indicating “No children just cats welcome”. Iiiinteresting.
