So there’s a whole mess of nonsense associated with the breaking-up, breaking-down, reforming of The Pipettes but suffice it to say, the trio of girls we saw in 2007 opening for Amy Winehouse are not the same two girls in the video below. Do we care? Nah. The Pipettes are a manufactured group by Monster Bobby anyway (no bias) and they were good and are still good, which the song ‘Stop the Music,’ from their album Earth vs. The Pipettes out Nov 16th, below proves. The track is a deviation from their 60s girl group phase and has ventured more into the realm of Sophie Ellis Bextor, whom we love so well done.
