Aiden Moffat Wants To Be Your Valentine (But Only If You Don’t Mind All His Other Valentines)
Out today in the form of a limited edition 7” is the first single from the Bill Wells and Aiden Moffat project Everything’s Getting Older, “(If You) Keep Me In Your Heart”. A hint of latin rhythms, a bit of mariachi trumpet. And a whole heap of Moffat’s trademark tones.
Coming as part of this most limited of limited editions is a Valentine’s card signed by Bill & Aiden (though I suspect you’ll find yourself just one of the duo’s many conquests).
Moffat’s certainly going all out on this Valentines malarkey: his Valentine Revue show kicks off at London’s Bush Hall in a few scant hours, and he’ll be taking it to Glasgow’s Oran Mor on Wednesday 16th (tickets).
Moffat’s approach to these shows is tripartite: a solo, autoharp backed set, a set by Aiden Moffat and the Best Ofs, and finally a set with Bill Wells.
There’s also a bunch of dates featuring Moffat’s Human Don’t Be Angry persona (click through).
