Post Grammy win, Esperanza Spalding hasn’t been enduring quite the “WTF?!” treatment that Arcade Fire did after their Best Album title but still, this little known to the wide wide world artist did receive some sideways glances when she won her award for Best New Artist this year- which by the way was the first ever to be won by a jazz musician.
