On September 6th, 2010, our friend Ross Harman ended his life. In tribute to Ross, friends Nate ‘Igor’ Smith (Driven by Boredom) and The Gaskets band mate Teddy Blanks are putting out a two disk album of 18 tracks from 15 different artists covering Ross’s songs called Love Me When I’m Gone.
The two friends have also put together a Kickstarter in order to fund the printing on vinyl of Ross’s two solo albums, Calcutta and Symphony. While Calcutta was released online before Ross’s death, Symphony was put out posthumously, gathered from music Ross had sent Teddy and files found on Ross’s computer after he died. We encourage you to help fund this project and in exchange, own some incredible music.
