Big Boi Added to Animal Collective Curated ATP

The May All Tomorrow’s Parties at Butlin’s in the UK will be curated by Animal Collective this year and they’ve just added more bands to their already diverse line-up, including Outkast’s Big Boi and Micachu and the Shapes (full line-up after the jump). We’re seeing that some rooms, two and three berth apartments, are sold out but some spots have just been released. You can buy tickets here.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor headlining ATP’s I’ll Be Your Mirror

All Tomorrow’s Parties’ I’ll Be Your Mirror event in Japan has confirmed the lineup that’ll be appearing at at Studio Coast, Tokyo, Japan on 17th February 2011; and topping the bill will be Canadian post-rockers Godspeed You! Black Emperor. GY!BE are also curating ATP’s In Between Days event from 6th-9th Dec.

World Domination, ATP Style

Continuing their path to cover every corner of the Globe, All Tomorrow’s Parties have announced their latest endeavour: their first event in Japan.

The “I’ll Be Your Mirror” event (named for the b-side to The Velvet Underground’s original All Tomorrow’s Parties 7″ single), the one day I’ll Be Your Mirror event will take place at Studio Coast, Tokyo, Japan on Sunday 27th February 2011.

It seems like it will be an event which will roam worldwide: the following event will take place in summer 2011 in the UK.

In Between Days with ATP

All Tomorrow’s Parties have announced a new 4-night mini-festival that’s going to take place in November in between the two weekend events being curated by Godspeed You! Black Emperor (3rd-5th December) and Belle and Sebastian (Bowlie 2, 10th-12th December). WOT? A FESTIVAL THAT TAKES PLACE DURING THE WEEK?
