It’s not everyday that you get to see one of your favorite musicians on a boat (capacity: 125) underneath the Brooklyn Bridge on a perfect spring evening. Yesterday, all of the aforementioned scenarios rang true. The intimate gig highlighted the bulk of Chris Garneau’s upcoming sophomore release, El Radio, and it was positively stunning through and through. Joined by Scary Mansion, the ninety minute set was one of the most passionate, intense & moving performances I’ve seen in quite some time.
