Mike D said it himself! In a recent interview with The Age, he declares that they are working hard on the new album (their first since ’04′s halfway decent, To The 5 Boroughs) and that it “is actually really different”.

Doesn’t sound promising, right? Well, he explains further…

“[Fans] can expect to be disappointed, they can expect to be angry at us.” If it’s any consolation, he concludes the interview by telling us that there’s still plenty of work that needs to be done and that he doesn’t want to ‘describe it too much because whatever I say might change’. Hmm… I just hope they are not going the new-rave route.
