The fourth album from UK group British Sea Power, Valhalla Dancehall, drops next Tuesday, 1/11/11 (a release date that a fair amount of bands just couldn’t resist). The album was recorded in South East England and on the Isle Of Skye last year and for those familiar with British rock in the early 2000s, is comforting in a, oh this I like, sort way.
The tireless British indie rock group British Sea Power will be releasing a new seven-track EP titled The Zeus EP on Monday October 4th (10/5 in the US and 10/12 on vinyl). As a preview, they’ve provided us with the first single free called, well, ‘Zeus.’ The EP is a precursor to a new fourth album, which will be out in January of next year. The EP was recorded in East Sussex and (I’m sure Skye will be happy to hear) on the Isle of Skye.
