The first single from Cold War Kids‘ new album Mine is Yours, ‘Louder than Ever’ now has a spiffy new video to go along with it. The video concept feels a bit counter intuitive to the band’s original, more salt of the earth, image but the song, though a bit over-produced and closely resembling a Muse track in our opinion, is still good. What do you think?
Cold War Kids‘ debut album, Robbers & Cowards is up there with with one of our all time favorite albums, so we’re excited to see the band back on the road and back on the horse with their third album, Mine is Yours, set for release on January 25th. The 2011 tour will kick off this March in Portland, OR.

Cold War Kids will be releasing their third album, Mine is Yours, on January 24, 2011. As a preview, they’ve shared ‘Louder Than Ever’ from the lp. It’s appropriateness for Halloween is spot on but fans of Cold War Kids will find it lacking the same warmth and inventiveness of their first effort. Check out the track below for yourself.
