CSS Frontwoman Pummeled With Shoe At Brighton Gig

NME reports: *CSS stormed offstage after singer Lovefoxx was hit by a shoe. The band cut their set short after the frontwoman was hit in the face during their performance at The Dome in Brighton on Friday (December 14). CSS’s MySpace page was flooded with angry responses from disappointed fans following the gig who have pleaded with the band not to reject the town on future tours. One fan wrote: “Who throws a shoe? It’s a shame that the actions of one idiot had to spoil the evening for everyone else. I hope it won’t dissuade you from playing Brighton again – we love you!” Another disappointed fan told BBC 6 Music, that the show was ruined by the shoe-throwing incident. He added: “It hit her square in the face. This sucked. They carried on until the end of the song without the singer, then that was it. The keyboard player said: ‘Why would you throw a shoe at Lovefoxx?! You ruined the whole show for everybody!’.*

Klaxons Plus CSS Equals Engagement

NME reports: *Klaxons’ Simon Taylor and CSS’ Lovefoxxx are engaged to be married. The couple, who met on the Shockwaves NME Awards Indie Rave Tour earlier this year, had previously fuelled rumours of an imminent engagement after Taylor discussed his wish to settle down with his girlfriend in the tabloids. Now CSS’ drummer, Adriano Cintra, has revealed that the couple are engaged to be married. He told Xfm: “They’re the happiest couple of MySpace. They’re gonna get married, it’s not a rumour. They’re gonna have baby CSS-Klaxons, it’s gonna be beautiful.”

The couple are yet to announce a date for the wedding.*

CSS – Alala (Robjn remix)

Judging from the overwhelmingly positive response to the last Robjn remix I posted (of his take on Daft Punk’s ‘Oh Yeah’), I figured it was only fair to share another fantastic Robjn reinterpretation – this time he tackles Cansei De Ser Sexy staple, ‘Alala’. Learn more about Robjn here.
