See the official live video from Daft Punk’s appearance at London’s Wireless Festival below. The ‘One More Time’/'Aerodynamic’ combo will be featured on the band’s upcoming Alive 2007 LP. More info on that release can be found here. Heads up courtesy of B-Fork.

All tickets on sale September 13th! Check out my photos from Daft Punk’s visit to Brooklyn’s Keyspan Park, earlier this month, via this link. My review of The Presets’ gig at Brooklyn’s Studio B, back in March, can be read here.
Of the evening, Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter declares: “We’re from Paris and we hadn’t played there for 10 years. It must have been a special night for the audience, as well as for us.” Additionally, Billboard is reporting that the first single lifted from the as-of-yet untitled album will be for the Kanye West-sampled tune, ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’. The video for the track will feature footage shot by fans at the instantly classic Keyspan Park show in Brooklyn last week (view my photos from that evening here).
Thomas discusses the idea behind the clip: “It is a montage of people shooting the song in the audience with 250 cameras. We were inspired by the Beastie Boys’ ‘Awesome, I F***in’ Shot That!’ and tried to do that in a four-minute video.” His reaction to the entire Alive 2007 tour: “We pretty much felt it everywhere, which was fascinating. It was a big deal each time. It’s a big deal for us each time, too, which is what keeps it fresh.”
For those of you curious in the ever-fascinating saga of how robots attempt to conform to human life, Electroma, is the film for you. Just so you know, the music featured in the flic is not by Daft Punk whatsoever (although I wouldn’t be surprised if the soundtrack serves as a sneak-peek into which samples to expect on their fourth LP).
The movie will be showing this weekend on Friday and Saturday, respectively, at midnight, courtesy of Sunshine Landmark Cinema. Purchase a pair of tickets here. View a brief (but enticing) trailer of Electroma & learn more about the feature via this link.
