There’s no denying in my mind that Little Boots will become one of 2009′s most successful breakthrough artists. Her flair, tunes and overall cuteness have only gotten more fabulous with each time that I’ve seen her over the last few months. Her incredible debut LP, Hands, will see daylight soon! It’s not everyday that Patrick Wolf decides to play a one-off acoustic set in New York City. Last night’s seated show was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. As Patrick bounced back and forth between the piano and his wide array of stringed instruments, his performance was sheerly breathtaking. Drawing heavily from his forthcoming senior effort, The Bachelor, Patrick found time to delve into his back catalog for a few moments. From his previous releases, he tackled Lycanthropy‘s ‘Pigeon Song’, the title track to Wind In The Wires and The Magic Position‘s ‘Bluebells’, its title track & ‘Augustine’.
