Whilst waiting to pick up a friend from JFK last night, I was reading the Village Voice when I stopped dead in my tracks at one music ad. Apparently, Robin Thicke is going to be doing an in-store at the new Borders at 2 Penn Plaza and will be signing cds afterward. Oh holy Jesus. Robin Thicke was doing what Justin Timberlake is doing now ten years ago. And he’s damn fine. He’ll be opening for India Arie tonight at the Beacon Theatre and tickets are apparently still available but are priced at a hefty $49 + $10.20 “convenience charge.”
