Since our initial introduction to Philly’s Drink Up Buttercup (in spring of last year), we’ve blogged about the band nearly thirty times. Not only that, but they also headlined our 3rd Anniversary gig, performed at After The Jump‘s official SXSW 2009 showcase & have consistently wowed us on a very regular basis. If that isn’t love, then I don’t know what is! Last night’s set was more of the same shenanigans, pop genius & wonderfully crafted chaos that we’ve come to know and adore from the manic quartet. Drink Up Buttercup’s debut single is out now. A full-length will see daylight by year’s end (we’re waiting with enormously baited breath). We strongly urge you to catch DUB on their current NA trek.
