So many new videos today. And as we sit at our desks, waiting for the time to tick by on a Tuesday that is really a Thursday, dreaming of carnival sized turkey drumsticks, sweet potato pie and passing out awkwardly on the couch at 3 in the afternoon, what better way to make the time go by quicker than a march of new music videos?
Next up, Spoon’s new video for ‘Nobody Gets me But You.’ For New Yorkers, the scene may seem familiar. That’s because it was shot at Lower East Side venue Cake Shop and the concept, based on an experience Britt Daniel had there of barely being able to see a band play in the cramped space and watching the show on the surveillance screens- which we can attest to, is a pretty accurate description of what it is like in the basement show area. But don’t get us wrong, we love the place.
