A wee while back I posted about the japesome Everyday Chemistry and The Beatles Never Broke Up project. Well, now Brazilian group Road to Joy have brought it from the parallel universe and into live performance, with this version of “Anybody Else”.
It’s a bit of a downbeat song, but it’s great fun to see the performance. Maybe McCartney could start including some of the mixes in his live performance…?
So Apple’s teasing announcement on Apple.com yesterday was… leading up to an announcement that the Beatles’ records will be available for sale on iTunes.

Ringo Starr has greeted this news with an enthusiastic “I am particularly glad to no longer be asked when the Beatles are coming to iTunes.”

Towards the end of last year this was doing the rounds on the interwebs, so you may well have encountered it already: a new Beatles record, recovered through a rift in space/time.
Or, maybe it’s a set of Beatles’ solo material, remixed in a manner not dissimilar to the way Giles Martin put together Love for Cirque du Soleil, and the guy who put it together just had a phenomenally good imagination when it came to coming up with a story to put behind it.
