I fell hard for The Golden Filter when the New York based electro act stunned a packed room at our joint SXSW 2009 showcase with Hype Machine Radio. Their Blondie meets Cut Copy meets Goldfrapp sound is positively addictive, as proven with their breakthrough debut single, ‘Solid Gold’, and their ridiculously arresting live cover of The White Stripes fave, ‘The Hardest Button To Button’.
