Over the course of the last ten years, I’ve seen more Gossip shows than I can possibly recall. Unlike so many other acts, as they’ve gained acclaim & popularity, their gigs have gotten stronger and stronger. If last year’s Terminal 5 gig was brilliant, then last night’s 75 minute performance was absolute perfection. At one point, Beth Ditto actually passed me her microphone to sing the second verse of ‘Pop Goes The World’. Ha! That scenario paired with a spectacular set-closing Grace Jones cover (alongside The Phenomenal Handclap Band) easily places this rendezvous at the top of the pile. Official TMS Rating: 10/10.
