Anthony Volodkin, the mastermind behind everybody’s favourite site (after this one of course) The Hype Machine, recently grabbed a drink with Ryan from The Catbirdseat for the Limewire’s new blogger interview series, Better Know a Blogger. They talk about the beginnings of the mp3 aggregating legend and its future. Check it out:
One of our favorite sites (and probably yours too), MP3-aggregator, The Hype Machine, has just unveiled their latest project – Hype Radio. The station’s mission is pretty simple – to play tracks uploaded from music blogs around the world on an entirely random rotation. In the past hour alone, CSNY was played alongside Blonde Redhead, followed by Kelly Clarkson. Oh. Yes. There’s even a feature to sample the station via your iTunes. Long live The Hype Machine.
